FAQ’s

1. You’re a bit out of my price range, are you willing to negotiate?

I do not negotiate prices. I truly believe in what I offer and take pride in the work I produce. Every photographer will be priced differently for various factors. I believe in quality over quantity - cheaper doesn’t always mean “better”. Thank you for those that truly support me and will go ALL IN for me!

2. How long are your sessions?

My sessions typically run from thirty minutes to ninety minutes, depending on which session package you book.

3. When is my balance due?

Payments is primarily made through Apple Cash. My backup method is Venmo, furthermore, PayPal. Your 50% non-refundable retainer (25% for wedding packages) is due once you forward back your signed PDF contract. Your retainer counts towards the total cost of your session/wedding package. There is a 48 hour grace period to submit your payment and signed contract before your date is opened back up. This ensures you lock in your date as soon as possible! Your remaining payment is due 48 hours prior to your session and two weeks before wedding day. Payment plans are only available for my wedding packages.

4. Will you help with posing?

YES, ABSOLUTELY! I will set the mood with music and provide prompts for you to do while I’m snapping away! Some poses might feel a bit awkward or silly at times BUT trust the process! They make the most genuine moments. You’'ll see the magic that unfolds when you see your photos! I always ask if you have any poses you want to try as well because this is your time to shine, whatever you want to try, we will absolutely do (without it getting too dangerous though).

5. We’re not sure what to wear…

No worries! I will provide outfit inspiration on what to wear with my Pinterest boards! Some basic tips that are helpful to know is to use neutral & earth toned colors, avoid intricate prints and small details, (you won’t be able to see them clearly in your photos), dress comfortably (because it will show in your photos), and most importantly wear something that’s YOU!

6. Where is the best location for us?

I’ve got you! There are so many beautiful places on the island and I will help you narrow down some options once you’ve filled out my contact form. When you fill out my contact form, there is a section where you can select up to three location sceneries and I can help you narrow down your selections. Once you’re booked and our session gets close, I also share a call sheet that will have proper directions on how to get to our location, what to bring, predicted weather, and more!

7. When will I receive my gallery?

My current turnaround time is 4 weeks. However, if you would like to receive your gallery ASAP, you can add on my Fast Pass Access to your session package to receive your gallery in half the amount of time! Your private online gallery will be sent via email where you will be able to download your high-res photos onto your desktop, mobile device, and also print! My gallery service Pic-Time also has an app you can download in the App Store to directly download the photos to your mobile device. Lastly, please make sure you save and download all your photos to a safe place! Your online gallery will be live for only 90 days which will give you ample time to back them up!

8. Will you Photoshop us to change our appearance?

To answer this in short, I do very minimal editing that includes removing obstructions that may be distracting in the scene or obvious blemishes. I stay away from heavy photoshopping such as making people appear thinner and removing subjects from the photo. This includes Photoshop AI.

9. Can you make your edits to the style I want?

Every photographer has their own unique style and you should definitely choose a photographer that you resonate with! If you follow me on social media, you will know exactly what you are going to get! Another important note is that the weather plays a role into our session/BIG DAY as well. If our session was more cloudy than if it was a sunny day, your gallery may be more dark and moody on a cloudy day compared to a sunny day which will be more golden and bright! Lastly, on behalf of every photographer out there, please keep in mind that photographers spend HOURS editing galleries to perfect them! Please try to refrain from adding filters to compromise our edits, which will also be in violation of the contract you signed. We hope you love your photos as much as we love them!

10. I really wanted to hang my photos around my home and send them to friends and family! How can we do that?

I’m so glad you asked! When you book with me, you also have access to my web gallery’s print shop. You can create custom prints, albums, and more through Pic-Time! It’s very user-friendly and convenient for delivering your orders straight to your doorstep. Amazing isn’t? I also earn a small commission when you make an order so I appreciate your support in advance to everyone who decides to purchase prints through Pic-Time!
